Sword and Lance by Martin J. Buckley, published in Lismore in 1988, is the story of the Richmond River Horsemen who were members of the Upper Clarence Light Horse, the Richmond River Light Horse, “E” and “G” Troops of the New South Wales Regiment of Volunteer Cavalry, and the 4th Squadron, New South Wales Lancers.
